There has been a big disclosure about Anjali's friend Nidhi, who was killed in Delhi's Kanjhawala case. Nidhi was caught smuggling drugs at Agra Cantt railway station two years back. The police seized 10 kg of ganja from him. The GRP arrested him and sent him to jail. Although he got bail on January 18, 2021.

When the accident happened with Anjali Singh on the night of December 31 in Delhi, Nidhi was also riding with her on a scooter. She had fled from the spot after the accident. Its CCTV footage was also revealed. The police had called Nidhi for questioning on Friday i.e. tomorrow. During this, the matter of his drug connection came to the fore.

Used to supply Delhi by bringing hemp from Secunderabad

Agra's SP GRP Mohammad Mushtaq told that on December 6, 2020, Agra Cantt GRP caught three ganja smugglers from Telangana Express during checking. All three were going to Delhi with ganja from Secunderabad. All three were about to get down from the train in Agra and take the bus to Delhi. Among the arrested accused were Nidhi, Delhi resident Ravi and Bhagya Vihar resident Sameer. He had to deliver to a person named Deepak in Delhi.

The SP told that at that time 10-10 kg of ganja was recovered from all three. The name and father's name of the girl caught at Agra Cantt is being found from Nidhi, the friend of deceased Anjali in Delhi. However, only the Delhi Police will confirm whether it is the same fund or not.

6 accused arrested in Anjali case, 7th absconding

Police have so far arrested 6 accused in this case. On January 1, the police arrested Manoj Mittal, Amit Khanna, Krishna, Mithun, and Deepak Khanna. The court sent them to police custody. Police told on January 5 that two more people are involved in this case. Their names are Ankush Khanna and Ashutosh. Ashutosh was arrested. The seventh accused Ankush Khanna is still absconding.

GRP is verifying the guarantors

Nidhi got bail from the ADJ Court of Agra on 18 January 2021 after going to jail for ganja smuggling. SP GRP told that the people of Agra are among the guarantors of the fund. The people who had given bail are being ascertained. A team has been sent to his address.
